DTF inks (Direct-to-Film inks)

Are specialized inks used in Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, a method where designs are printed onto a film and then heat-pressed onto fabric.

DTF inks are designed to:

• Print onto PET transfer film instead of directly onto garments
• Work with adhesive powder that bonds the ink to fabric
• Transfer onto cotton, polyester, blends, and more

Most DTF systems use a 5-color setup:

• CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) – for full-color designs
• White ink – printed underneath to make colors pop on dark garments
