Aquarius™ Black PC – 1KG is a highly concentrated universal black pigment designed for use with the Zodiac™ Aquarius™ water-based ink system from Avient Specialty Inks. It provides screen printers with a powerful black colorant for creating custom water-based ink formulations while maintaining the performance characteristics of the selected Aquarius base. Aquarius Black is part of the Aquarius universal Pigment Concentrate (PC) range.
Aquarius pigment concentrates are formulated for compatibility across the Aquarius base-ink portfolio, including specialty-effect bases. Because the pigment is highly concentrated, printers can achieve strong color development while using controlled pigment additions. The appropriate pigment loading depends on the specific Aquarius base being used and should follow that base ink's technical recommendations.

- Aquarius Base Inks: Mix Black PC into the appropriate Zodiac™ Aquarius™ base according to the desired formulation.
- Pigment Loading: Follow the maximum pigment-loading recommendation specified for the selected Aquarius base.

Aquarius Black PC is a concentrated pigment and should be mixed with an appropriate Zodiac™ Aquarius™ base before printing. It is not intended to replace the performance characteristics provided by the selected base ink.

Substrate compatibility is also determined primarily by the selected Aquarius base system. Aquarius systems can be used across cotton, blends, synthetics, polyester, and other substrates depending on the base formulation and production requirements.
Always test the completed ink formulation on the actual production garment for color accuracy, colorfastness, cure, adhesion, and print durability before beginning a full production run.
